Welcome to the Liquid Phone application (the "App"), developed and published by Silent Orbit (the "Developer"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy informs you how we handle your data when you use our application, the device permissions we request, and how those permissions are used strictly on your device.
To provide you with a fully functional, fluid phone dialer and call management experience, our app requests the following core permissions:
Why we need it: We require this permission to display your address book, support multiple phone numbers per contact, search contacts quickly from the dialer, and allow you to create, edit, or add numbers to existing contacts directly from the app.
How we use it: Your contacts are accessed and rendered strictly locally on your device to display names, avatars, and contact cards during calls and in your contacts list. We never upload, sync to external servers, sell, or share your contact list with any third parties.
Why we need it: This permission is necessary to display your complete recent call history (all calls, missed calls, incoming/outgoing) and allow you to clear or manage call records.
How we use it: Call logs are retrieved and stored locally on your device. We use this data solely to display your recents history and missed call indicators. We do not transmit your call history off your device.
Why we need it: We need these permissions to initiate phone calls when you dial a number, detect incoming calls, and allow you to answer or decline calls seamlessly.
How we use it: This constitutes the primary functionality of a phone app. Telephony state information is processed in real time purely to manage active calls on your device.
Why we need it: This permission is required to capture and route your voice during an active phone call and route audio between the speaker, earpiece, and connected headsets.
How we use it: Audio is processed strictly in real time during live calls to facilitate two-way telephony communications. We never record, analyze, or store your voice conversations.
Why we need it: This permission allows the app to detect connected Bluetooth headsets, car kits, and wireless earphones.
How we use it: Used exclusively to allow seamless one-tap audio routing to Bluetooth audio devices during ongoing calls.
Why we need it: Used to display incoming call alerts, ongoing call notification banners with quick action buttons (Mute, Speaker, End Call), missed call alerts, and user-scheduled call reminders.
How we use it: Notifications are generated locally by the system. We do not use notifications for unsolicited promotional or marketing messages.
Why we need it: This permission powers the "Remind Me" call reminder feature and allows scheduling timed Escape Calls.
How we use it: Alarms are scheduled locally on the device using Android's system AlarmManager to notify you at the exact time you selected.
Why we need it: Enables the floating compact Banner Call overlay so that incoming calls appear at the top of your screen without interrupting what you are doing in other apps.
How we use it: Used solely to display the incoming call banner and active call floating controls when chosen in Settings.
Why we need it: Enables the VIP Emergency Contact feature.
How we use it: When you designate specific contacts as VIPs and enable VIP ringtone override, the app momentarily allows your phone to ring for those contacts even when Do Not Disturb mode is active.
Why we need it: Enables you to decline an incoming call with a quick predefined text message (e.g., "Can't talk right now. Call you later?").
How we use it: Quick replies are dispatched only when you explicitly select a message response. We do not read or collect your personal SMS inbox.
Why we need it: Used when you choose to take a live photo to assign as a contact profile image.
How we use it: Photos are saved locally to your device's contact storage and are never uploaded to any remote server.
Why we need it: To manage spam prevention and call blocking by interacting with your device's native blocked numbers database.
How we use it: Blocked numbers are managed locally on your device. No contact or block data is ever transmitted to external servers.
When you set Liquid Phone as your Default Phone App, it takes responsibility for handling all incoming and outgoing calls on your device. All call routing, state changes, and dialer actions happen entirely on your device with no external middleman.
Our application integrates industry-standard third-party SDKs to support monetization and app stability:
We display advertisements via Google AdMob. AdMob may process device identifiers and advertising data to serve relevant ads in compliance with Google Play Policies and user consent choices.
We use Google Firebase to monitor application stability, detect crashes, and analyze performance. Data collected by Firebase is anonymized and strictly technical (such as device model, OS version, and crash stack traces). It does NOT include any personal information, contacts, or call logs.
We believe in privacy-by-design. We do not operate servers that store your personal data, call history, or contacts. All sensitive personal data remains strictly on your device and is protected by your device's operating system security and biometric locks.
Because all contacts, call history, and settings are stored locally on your device, you retain 100% ownership and control over your data. You can delete your data at any time by clearing the application storage via your device Settings or by uninstalling the application.
We do not sell, rent, monetize, or share your personal data, call records, or contact lists with any third parties or advertisers.
Our application is not targeted at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app enhancements or regulatory requirements. Any updates will be reflected with a revised "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
